Two-Storey Extension Knoxfield – Bedrooms & Home Office Addition
This Knoxfield home needed more bedrooms and a home office but had limited ground to extend. The solution was a two-storey rear extension adding approximately 70sqm across both levels. The ground floor houses an expanded open-plan living and dining area with full-height glazing. The upper level contains two new bedrooms, an ensuite and a home office with a balcony. The exterior uses rendered walls at ground level and natural timber cladding on the upper storey, creating a clear distinction between old and new. Full-height windows on both levels maximise light and views. Integrated landscape lighting creates a dramatic effect at dusk. The upper balcony has a steel and glass balustrade.
