The sunset-facing side is left completely open without rails (the deck is under 500mm above ground), framing the view like an infinity edge. Recessed floor-level LED lights along the perimeter provide subtle lighting as the sun sets.
Completed in 3 weeks. The deck captures the full sunset arc. The built-in BBQ and fireplace extend the season through winter. The recessed floor lights create a warm ambient glow at dusk.
